camera: Contax I

The Contax I came out in 1932.  It is one of my favorite vintage cameras to use.  I've had this one fully restored to original operating condition.

The Carl Zeiss lenses for the Contax are excellent, producing a very sharp image with a lower contrast due to the lack of lens coating.  It is shown here with the f/1.5 5cm Sonnar lens, although the lens used to take the photo at left was the 8.5cm Zeiss Triotar.
